Our New Brand Identity
We launched GameChanger in 2009 with a mission: to simplify the lives of youth coaches, and help connect parents to their kids’ teams.
Our app has been an integral part of many youth baseball and softball seasons, and along the way, we’ve learned an incredible amount from the millions of coaches, parents, and fans who’ve used GameChanger. As we grew, our simple mission evolved into a larger purpose: to contribute to the life-changing impact of youth sports.
It’s a vision that inspires us every day, and luckily, we’re not alone. In 2016, GameChanger joined the DICK’S Sporting Goods family, which shares our belief in the transformative power of youth sports. Together, we aim to empower and connect youth sports communities through world-class products and solutions.
It was time to evolve the GameChanger brand to better reflect our product aspirations and our ties to DICK’S Sporting Goods. GameChanger asked Doubleday & Cartwright to help develop a visual identity that best represents who we are today, and where we’re going next.
The centerpiece of our new design is the logo. The simplicity of the new logo feels modern, while the curved shapes and sleek lines convey motion and sportiness. It’s a perfect expression of our roots in technology and in baseball and softball.
Our new color palette is built around two stimulating colors that when paired together feel dynamic and dramatic, yet fun and inviting. Our core green evokes the energy of youth sports while the deep indigo represents the empowering feeling of being part of a team community.
You’ll notice elements of our new identity popping up throughout the GameChanger experience. We hope you like our new look and are excited to see how we implement it over the next few months!
